Emily Gumpel Clifton has 15 years' experience in post-production and has edited more than 25 feature films, shorts and television shows. Among other things, her work includes: a project directed by Russell Crowe on his band's tour of Italy; a television drama for ABC set in a psychiatric hospital; a verité documentary on a troubled rapper in East New York; and several entertainment shows for Fuse and Vh1. She has worked with both Avid and Final Cut Pro editing systems.
Her most recent documentary feature, "Collateral Damages", which studied the aftereffects of September 11 on New York City firefighters, won the Special Jury Award at the Silverdocs Film Festival, and had a critically-acclaimed theatrical release at Film Forum in March 2004.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, Billy Green, a firefighter from Engine 6, went into the North tower of the World Trade Center with his crew. His was one of the first companies to arrive on the scene, and Billy was the only member of the team who would make it out of the building alive.
This short film comprises a single interview with Billy as he recounts his experiences of that day.

"New Jersey" is the pilot episode for this prospective series on little-known artists. It focusses on Arie Galles, a Polish immigrant living in New Jersey. He is best known for his colorful, light aerial interpretations, but for the last nine years has worked exclusively on 14 charcoal and chalk representations of concentration camps.
The documentary explores his family background in Europe, and how it spurred his long quest to locate source material for the artwork.
60 Odd Hours in Italy

This thirty-minute film follows Russell Crowe's band – Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts – through a hectic weekend in Milan and San Remo. It contains verité footage of gigs, interviews and behind-the-scenes events. 60 Odd Hours was featured on the band's 2002 DVD "Texas".
